2nd Place - Jim Baker & Michael Ray  11.41 lbs.

1st Place - Gary Pittman & Jamie Ramsey  11.45 lbs.

 

Big Bass - Jim Baker  3.82 lbs.

I heard from many fishermen that it was a tough night.

We had 29 boats show up (pretty good for Orion Lake) with 56 fish brought in to the scales. 4 teams brought in limits, with 4 sacks weighing over 10 lbs. and 5 fish weighing over 3 lbs. We paid out 6 places and only 1 big bass.

Matt Malmquist and Nate Barr brought 8.06 lbs. of fish in to be weighed putting them in 6th place. The Standhardt brothers of Chuck and Chris came in 5th with 9.55 lbs. With a nice sack weighing 10.13 lbs., Derrek Zdeb and Chris Schultes took the 4th place spot. The father/son team of Smith (squared) came in 3rd with a weight of 10.47 lbs. Michael Ray and Jim Baker came in 2nd with a great weight of 11.41 lbs. Gary Pittman and Jamie Ramsey took 1st with a nice sack weighing 11.45 lbs. Jim Baker was our Big Bass winner with a nice largemouth weighing 3.82 lbs.

July 30 - Cass Lake

  

  

2nd Place - Joey Hickey & Joey Hickey Jr.  9.60 lbs.

1st Place - Homer Mayberry & Chuck Billington  12.12 lbs

 

2nd Place Big Bass - Homer Mayberry  3.52 lbs.



1st Place Big Bass - Andrew Solomon  3.93 lbs.

Another warm one but at least there was a breeze.

We had 31 boats with 71 fish weighed in. 6 teams brought in limits with 3 fish weighing in over 3 lbs. We paidout 6 places and 2 big bass.

Directors Paul Cowen and Bob Ayotte brought in 7.79 lbs which put them in 6th place while the father/son team of Steve D. Smith and Steve L. Smith (Smith2) came in 5th place with 8.03 lbs. Matt Malmquist and Nate Barr brought in a tied weight of 8.03 lbs. however, their big bass weighed more putting them in 4th place. (always weigh your big bass) 3rd place went to Gary Pittman and Jamie Ramsey with a weight of 8.84 lbs. Father/son team of Joey Hickey & Joey Hickey Jr. came in 2nd place with a weight of 9.60 lbs. Homer Mayberry and Chuck Billington took 1st with a great sack weighing 12.12 lbs. Homer then came in 2nd for BIg Bass with a smaly weighing 3.52 lbs. and Andy Solomon took 1st Big Bass with a largemouth weighing 3.93 lbs.

July 23 - Orchard Lake

1st Place - Jake Sexton and Curtis Talley  8.18 lbs.



2nd Big Bass - Matt Fischer  3.30 lbs.



1st Big Bass - Paul Marcon  3.63 lbs.



What a HOT and tough night of fishing!

We had 31 boats show up to sweat and fish. The fish however had a different plan, only 40 fish were caught with only 1 limit of fish brought in to the scales. We did have 2 fish that weighed over 3 lbs. There were 6 placed paid out along with 2 big bass.

Matt Malquist and Nate Barr came in 5th place with a weight of 5.00 lbs. 5th place went to Paul Marcon and James Templin with 5.03 lbs of fish. The team of Ed Schiller and Don Patton were in 4th place with 5.32 lbs. while Cecil Cole and Bill Isaacson brought in 6.24 lbs putting them in 3rd place. 2nd place went to Mike Coopersmith and Matt Fischer with 6.94 lbs and 1st place went to Jake Sexton and Curtis Talley with a sack weighing 8.18 lbs. Matt Fischer then came in 2nd place in the Big Bass competition with a nice smally weighing 3.30 lbs. and Paul Marcon took the 1st place Big Bass with a another nice smally weighing 3.63 lbs.

July 16 - Oakland Lake

Thank you to Josh and Rachel for helping out while I was recovering from my back surgery. THank you also to Kelly Tyrell for helping out with the pictures.

32 boats showed up with 11 teams bringing in limits. we had 103 fish caught and 5 fish weighed over 3 lbs., with 2 sacks of fishing weighing over 10 lbs.

We paid out 6 places and 2 big bass places.

6th place went to Wayne Prysdale and Charles Dyer with a weight of 9.37 lbs. Chris O'Connor and Sandy Alfaro came in 5th with 9.43 lbs. 4th place went to Homer Mayberry and Chuck Billington with 9.46 lbs. The team of Tom Taylor and David Taylor took 3rd with 9.87 lbs. and Chuck Standhardt and his brother Chris Standhardt came in 2nd with 11.63 lbs. Derrek Zdeb and Chris Schultes came in 1st with a nice sack of fish weighing 13.18 lbs. Our 2nd Big Bass place went to Chris Smiley with a fish weighing in at 3.53 lbs. Tom Taylor took 1st Big Bass with a weight of 3.82 lbs.
