Derrek Zdeb & Chris Schultes - First Place 14.03 lbs. (top)

Mike Mortensen - Big Bass 5.46 lbs. (bottom)

Well, while some of us didn't do so well, others were on their game. What a feeling with some really nice fish coming into the scales. Two fish over five pounds for the first two 5lb. license plates to be awarded from our division. We are also thankful for the generosity of the church allowing us to park and hold the weigh in on their property. Thanks Sandy for making the arrangements. As you may or may not have noticed we also had many new spectators last night taking pictures and asking questions about NBAA.

We had a total of 49 fish weighed in and 0 dead. We appreciate Garry allowing us to use his truck to transport the fish to the lake. All of them went in alive and happy to be back I am sure.

Congratulations to the team of Zdeb and Schultes with the only limit of the night and a nice weight of 14.03lbs. Second place went to the team of Mortenson and Corbin (first time fishing with division 40) with two fish weighing in at 8.97lbs. The team of Malmquist and Barr (with a boat that was running well!) came in third with 8.93lbs. First place big bass and the traveling trophy (please bring it back next week) went to Mike Mortenson with a monster large mouth weighing 5.46lbs. Second place big bass with another monster went to Scott Tyrell with a beauty weighing 5.02lbs.

We want to thank Brian Ward from Selfridge Tackle for the give aways that he provided last night. Also, Dads Deli for the gift certificates and Lunch Money Lures for the tubes. We have the best sponsors and if you get a chance be sure to go and see them.

Please remember next week on Cass Lk. is our last regular season tournament. We are making this a super tournament and looking for 50 boats. We have already had good response to the flyer's, emails and calls.

KD Outdoors is stepping up with a really nice offer for next week. You will receive a special card that if you take it back to KD and spend $100.00 or more at one time you will get a 25.00 gift certificate to go with it. Make sure you let Ken know when you are at KD that we appreciate his support as well. Remember you will have to take the card we give you on Cass Lk. at the time of purchase to receive this offer.

Well, have a great week and we will see you at Cass Lk. on Monday night.
