Well, Pontiac Lk. held up to yet another good tournament. We had 30 boats and a great night to fish.
Congratulations to Doug Ratliff and Charles Shaw who took first place with a nice weight of 10.05 lbs. Mark Semple and Alex Cataldo were not to far behind with 9.75lbs in second. Zachary and David McGowen placed third with 9.64lbs. First place big bass and the traveling trophy went to Zachary McGowen with a 3.64lb. large mouth. NICE JOB !!!!!
We had a total of 107 fish weighed in and only 2 dead. On such a hot night with extremely warm water temperatures you did a fantastic job of taking care of the fish, thank you, thank you, thank you.
As you know we have had to change our lake for the Divisional Championship. We will be announcing the new lake August 11Th at the weigh in on Macadey Lake. We have been able to secure most of the plans and the lake is good to go so don't leave until we announce it on Monday.
August 18Th is our last regular season tournament. We have extended an invitation to several other divisions and NBAA members to come and fish with us. This will be a division 40 tournament and will NOT be "combined" We would like to set the record for the most boats ever on a weeknight tournament without combining with another division. If you know someone that you would like to have fish with us and they are NBAA members please invite them to come to Cass Lk. on Aug. 18Th. We are shooting for 50 boats and have every confidence that we can achieve our goal with your help. We also want other division to see the great friendships we have and the awesome anglers that fish Div. 40. We truly appreciate each and every one of you and want to say thanks again for making it a pleasure to direct this division.
See you at Macadey Lk. on Monday night. Don't forget overflow parking will be at the church at the corner just down from the ramp.
We also want to thank our sponsor of the night, Dads Deli, if you haven't been there yet you do not know what you are missing!!!! Go see Larry and Sue and let them know you fish Div. 40, they appreciate hearing from you every chance they get.
